Thank you for all you have done for girls/women's baseball over the years. My daughter Katie had the pleasure of playing for your Sparks team last year in Cooperstown.. Not only did she meet girls from all over the world, but she met athletes just like her who share the love of playing baseball.. and was able to meet new friends and more talented baseball players as well.

But far too often, girls are told that baseball is for boys and softball is for girls.
Baseball For All is a nonprofit organization that provides meaningful opportunities and instruction in baseball, especially for girls. Baseball For All envisions a day when girls will have the same opportunities as boys to compete in baseball at every level of play.
Baseball For All's Founder and Executive Director, Justine Siegal knows that dreams can come true. At 13, her coach told her that he didn't want her on his team and that girls shouldn't play baseball. With great determination and a love for the game, Siegal continued playing baseball through high school, men's summer leagues, and women's International play. In 2011, she made baseball history when she became the first woman to throw batting practice to MLB teams (Indians, A’s, Rays, cardinals, Astros, and Mets). Justine is also the first female base coach in men's professional baseball (Brockton Rox, 2009).
Baseball is the greatest game on earth. Baseball For All is for players, coaches, umpires, and fans who have a passion for the game and who believe baseball is for everyone, regardless of race or gender. If we tell girls they can't play baseball, what else will they believe they can't do? But better yet, if we tell a girl that she can play baseball, what else will she believe that she can do.
